JOIN US ON THE WATER

Fish Finder Adventures would like to introduce your family or small group to any of Ocean City’s many fishing opportunities. Whether it’s a fun filled day of offshore fishing for bluefish, sharks, seabass, tautog, king mackerel, false albacore or a quiet half day trip in the back bay for striped bass or flounder - we have what it takes to create fond memories that will last a lifetime!

It’s our great pleasure to escort families and small groups into the fascinating ecosystem that surrounds Ocean City, Maryland. Let us be your guide, not only to catch fish, but also to learn and marvel as whales spout in the distance, porpoise play in the boats wake, strange looking ocean sunfish swim by, giant sea turtles sleep on the surface, and huge manta rays glide past. These sights and so much more go into making a charter with us more than just a fishing trip, it’s an adventure!

THE FISH FINDER

The 40’ FISH FINDER is a safe, clean, and comfortable six passenger, custom-built sportfishing charter boat. She’s equipped with more than enough modern tackle, equipment, and state-of-the-art electronics to effectively pursue and capture fish from the smallest minnow to the largest shark.

One look at the FISH FINDER and you’ll have to agree that she’s a breed apart from the rest of the fleet. Inside you’ll find an enclosed head, v-bunks, and comfortable seating. Outside is a massive 11’X19’ fishing cockpit, lot’s of seating, fighting chair, and insulated fish-hold with 1500 lb. of fish/ice capacity. Charter fees aren’t inflated to cover fancy decorations, plush carpeting, and color TVs. This vessel is forty feet of very serious fishing machine!

CAPTAIN MARK SAMPSON

For most folks fishing is nothing but a seasonal sport, but Captain Mark Sampson, a long time resident of Ocean City, is lucky to have it as a way of life. Fishing out of Ocean City and the Florida Keys, Mark’s experience and reputation has made him a sought after lecturer, demonstrator, writer, and guide for shark fishing (his specialty) and other offshore fishing techniques.
Mark has been featured many times in both local and national television broadcasts, radio talk shows, fishing videos, newspaper, and magazine articles.

A member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, Mark has his own columns in the Ocean Pines Independant, Daily Times, Worcester County Times, Coastal Fisherman, and the Fishing & Hunting Journal. His free-lance work also appears in other fishing, hunting, and outdoor related publications and he is the author of the book "Modern Sharking."

Mark is a founder of the Annual Ocean City Shark Tournament, an event he’s helped run since its conception in 1981. He’s active in gamefish tagging programs, a member of the Maryland Saltwater Sportsfisherman's Association (MSSA), the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA), on an advisory panel to the National Marine Fisheries Service, is a member of the National Aquarium’s Marine Animal Rescue Program, and has guided anglers to 20 IGFA world records and numerous Maryland state records.
